Snoring cure is one of those philosopher stones that the humans have been searching for years and it seems that we are getting closer and closer to getting one. Still, there is no cure as of yet, only ways to ease the snoring, through different habits and different devices that can help with reducing the symptoms of snoring, most importantly that sound that sometimes gets louder than a plane taking off.
First of all, one has to be aware that there are certain lifestyle choices that can be changed in order to reduce or even prevent snoring. For example, drinking and smoking just before going to bed can precipitate snoring and make it louder. Also, if one gets a bit chubby, it also creates fatty tissue that can hinder the free flow of air through the airways.
If changing these doesn’t help, there are other snoring cures, or more precisely devices that can help with snoring. First of all, there is the simple changing of the pillow, maybe getting an orthopedic pillow that positions the snorer’s head in such a way that it alleviates snoring.
Also, there is the chin strap that keeps the mouth closed and in return results with reduction of snoring, maybe even getting rid of it. There are also certain anti snoring mouthpieces that push the lower jaw forwards and thusly clear the airways.
In addition to these, there are some more complicated procedures like pillar procedure where you get an implant that stiffens the tissue and thusly prevents snoring. There are also surgical procedures that are a bit more invasive, but there is not enough data on them for us to wholeheartedly recommend them.
