The short answer would be no, unfortunately. There are surgeries though, but they haven’t been around for long enough to be proven effective. There is in fact very little, if any medical data on these procedures. There are, however, devices and remedies that can help alleviate both the symptoms and the effects the snoring has on both the snorer and those around them.
The most important thing that you need to distinguish from is whether your snoring has only ‘cosmetic’ effects, namely the social ones, preventing those around you to sleep due to the decibels you are producing. If that is the case, there are several devices you can try out. You can simply try to use different pillow, or to sleep in a different position. You might also check out the mouthpieces that push your jaw forward as well as your tongue thus straightening your soft tissue and preventing the blockage of the airways.
Of course, if your snoring is more than just snoring; if it is a symptom of something more serious like sleep apnea, you might want to do something more drastic. For example there is the CPAP therapy (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) where you wear a special mask that is hooked to a machine with pressurized air. This way you are sure that you are getting enough oxygen to your brain during your sleep. Also, you might want to check out a procedure called pillar procedure. This involves an implant being put in your palate, making sure that the tissue gets stiffened up as much as possible, preventing the airways blockage.
Of course, you might also want to check out the surgical treatment, but only if you have confidence in yourself and in your physician.
